DuPont Country Club was founded in 1920, the roots of a recreational club for DuPont employees can be traced back to the 1880’s. In 1923 the club got its first 18-hole course. It was originally designed by Alfred Tull in 1949 and it played host to the LPGA Championships from 1994 to 2004.
