Formed in 1895, Brooklawn became one of the first earliest twenty-six clubs to join the United States Golf Association (USGA) when it was admitted on January 22, 1896. Since 1984, it has been the venue for the tour’s annual Travelers Championship, previously known as the Buick Championship and Greater Hartford Open. Founded in 1928 as Middletown Golf Club and became Edgewood Country Club in 1934.
